Help Shape the Reef 2050 Catchment Water Quality Strategy

The draft Reef 2050 Catchment Water Quality Strategy is the Australian and Queensland governments roadmap for improving the health of our catchments to protect the Great Barrier Reef. Building on existing efforts, it's designed to guide how we all work together including Traditional Owners, landholders, industry, and the community to improve our local waterways and the water flowing to the Reef.

After a thorough review and consultation, the draft Reef 2050 Catchment Water Quality Strategy has been developed as a refreshed framework. This is your opportunity to provide valuable, detailed feedback on the draft including the vision and values to ensure the strategy resonates with those who live and work in the catchments. We are seeking your input on whether the proposed principles, focus areas and enablers will truly work on the ground.

Your specific feedback on these topics will ensure the final Strategy is robust and fit-for-purpose that genuinely supports our shared vision of Healthy Catchments for a Healthy Reef and Healthy People. We appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback.
