Consultation has concluded
The Queensland Government has committed to investigating and consulting about the possible establishment of an independent Environmental Protection Agency, to protect our environment, create jobs, and support economic growth.

Survey
You have received a private link and invitation to participate in this targeted consultation as your organisation has been identified as an Environmental Authority (EA) holder and a key stakeholder in Queensland’s environmental sector.

Log in and respond to the questions posed in the discussion paper. Responses can be completed gradually – you can save and return to your submission at any time.

Stakeholder consultation is open from Tuesday 24 May and closes Friday 22 July 2022.
The discussion paper brings together learnings from the investigation, research, benchmarking and feedback received to date, during community and stakeholder consultation activities. It also includes possible models and a series of questions.
Targeted consultation is also occurring with peak industry groups and DES Staff. These groups have also received private links to the same survey and discussion paper.
